My Degrees: B.A in English from the University of Minnesota,
M.F.A in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College.

Great jobs I’ve had:
*Buyer and copywriter for group of specialty toy stores in Twin Cities.
*Tour guide and cook at Victorian mansion of Minnesota’s first governor.
*Volunteer teacher at nature center in West. St. Paul.
*Child placement coordinator for summer program that brings children from Northern Ireland to visit Minnesota.
*Hot dog vendor at Minnesota State Fair.

A few of my interests:
*Ghost towns
*Bird watching
*Reading dogs (therapy dogs that visit libraries and classrooms)
